Kentucky Lake Resort & Rv Park Gilbertsville, Gilbertsville

I had high hopes for this resort, given its proximity to the Kentucky Dam State Park and Land Between the Lakes, but the stay was somewhat underwhelming. The cabins were clean and comfortable, with good amenities, but my experience was tainted by a few maintenance issues and an unfortunate view. It felt like the potential was there, but it needs some serious attention to really impress visitors.

The resort is situated near the Kentucky Dam State Park, providing great access to outdoor activities in Land Between the Lakes, which I appreciated. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable, though it's clear that the place needs some updates. On the downside, there were a few maintenance issues, and the view from our cabin was disappointing. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some enjoyable aspects but certainly room for improvement.
